Chicken Tractor or Chick-n-Barn

Instead of buying that small chick-n-barn or a tractor, I would look at getting a shed, a playhouse, or even a extra large dog house. I agree that $300 is too much for that item and that does not include shipping.

For the exact same price, personally I would rather get this 10x8 Arrow shed from Lowes.

Maybe you could insulate it inside by glueing styrophone insulation board to the walls with construction adhesive little by little before winter comes. You can cover the insulation board on the walls with a linoleum sheet remnant that looks like tiles. I even saw some paneling sheets there that look like ceramic bathroom wall tiles that you could cover the walls with in time. Easy clean up.

I would not bother to get the extra floor kit option. I would just put some gravel and deep sand on the floor for litter and you're set!

It would give you a lot more room to play with and is walk in size. You could even use part of it for storage.
