Chicken Tractor Question

Well I have built myself a chicken tractor and want to use it in my backyard, and I have used fertilizer and weed killer lots this year, but have stopped now that I am getting chickens. How long until the grass will be free of harmful chemicals?(I have never used pesticides though)

Hi, if it was me, I would make sure that my lawn had been super watered several times, and the weeds have died, and I have cut the grass several times. I do this with the dogs, too.

I'd call the company who makes the chemicals if you're concerned about it. They should be able to tell you with more certainty.
