Hello Everyone,
I have been scouring the internet for some kind of tutorial on how to build chicken tunnels. I don't have a lot to invest in trial and error. Does anyone have a link to something that might help me see how it is done? I saw some posts with chicken tunnel photos and discussions but I haven't been able to locate a how to. I haven't worked with welded wire before, not sure what device to use to bend the wire, or is it all done by hand?

Thank you.

It is all done by hand. Unroll the wire and bend the ends up into an arc. Use plastic pipe pieces with holes drilled in the ends for zip ties to hold it in an arc, then flip it over and you are ready to go. If it were me, I would cut off the top and bottom strand of the welded wire so that there are spikes of wire down each side of the tunnel to prevent critters from trying to come under it.

Sorry to have put this in the wrong section.

Thanks for the idea, redsix.

SqueakyRoseShalom, chicken tunnels are tubes or half tubes made out of welded wire. Seems like a simple and cheap way to move the chickens from one place to another. Like rotating paddocks or working over a garden bed. Seems affordable too.
