We've almost finished our bench! I decided to make one that folds up so the seat will not be chicken poopy. It still needs a sheet of something waterproof on the back side of the backrest... Need to check Habitat for an old acrylic shower door that I could cut to fit.
It's made of redwood pieces of lumber from the oops bin at Home Depot - total material cost: $6.50.
Here it is folded out to sit on.
And here it is with the back folded down to keep chickies off the seat.
