Chicken...um...dance?

Hello All!

This morning my husband went to the coop to see if our new chickens laid a second egg. One of the girls got in front of him, hunched down, stuck her wings back and stomped her feet in quick succession. Like a dance. He stepped back, but she kept doing it.

I don't believe she was the one to lay our first egg. She didn't have her beak open, like I might expect she would. Is this aggressive? Or is it more, "Hey Sailor!"

I had a hen who was raised with rooster, she was very aggressive with me and i thought she was a rooster and almost put her down because she was aggressive. But then she laid an egg. Then after I knew she was a girl, I was more happy with her, and in kind, she got more fem on me.

I currently have 2 hens that think they are tough. "Kato" a spitz named after the guy in Pink panther, and one silver penciled rock "Assassin" Both female but they like to fight...me.

Oh also today, I was in my garden, and decided to do the rooster dance and circle a hen, and a neighbor who has a higher view of the garden was watching...uh, nunyah!
