Chicken vitamins

I am still putting vitamins in my chickens water. Most of them are about 5 months old. Is it still necessary to put vitamins in their water? Does it hurt anything to continue to put the vitamins in their water?

It is not necessary if you are feeding them what they need. Layer feed for layers, etc. If it gets really hot you can use an electrolyte type vitamin mixed in the water. I use vits in the winter when greens are sparse too.
