So I have a cute 6 month old little EE, kids named her Grey Squirrel, and she always had a really scratchy low growl, pretty typical of the other chickens' sounds as well. She is always very vocal. Now, since about Sunday, her voice is much higher, almost as if she's peeping like a chick again, very high pitched and whistley. She's hardly got the scratchy throaty sounds anymore. Anyone else have this, or able to explain it?
She's no less vocal than before at all, she's always the first one to start when I come near the pen, and always the one to make the most 'constant' noise when I'm in there...
