Hi
@St3v3n31922
Can you post some photos of how your hen is standing and her injuries or a video of your?
How old is she?
When was the last time she laid an egg?
Any swelling, bloat or feeling of fluid in the abdomen?
How are you treating her injuries?
Having "penguin stance" is sometimes associated with being "egg bound". Egg Bound is when a hen has an egg physically stuck or bound inside the oviduct. This is an emergency and a hen will usually stop pooping and can die within 48hours of the egg being stuck.
Another more common reason for having a "penguin stance" is when a hen is suffering from an internal laying/reproductive disorder like Egg Yolk Peritonitis, Ascites, cancer, tumors or salpingitis. This is when eggs, egg matter and/or a combination of fluids have accumulated in the abdomen of a hen. The abdomen can sag or look distended causing the hen to have a penguin appearance. Symptoms include - going off feed, lethargy, difficulty walking/lameness, weight loss, breathing difficulties and sometime runny poop that looks like egg.
If you have a vet that can examine her and xray the wing to see if there are any fractures, that would be a good idea.
