Chicken water system getting too hot in 100+ weather

I have a nipple watering system I made with pvc connected to a bucket. But here in AZ its constantly gets over a 100 degrees and the water coming from the nipples gets pretty hot. Is hot water bad for them? Will they drink less water and cause health problems? Any suggestions on a fix? It seems like the pvc pipe gets heated up which heats up the water coming out of the nipples.

Freeze a left over half gallon juice jug with water/ice and insert it in your bucket to cool the water. Should last a day.
