In the Brooder
Howdy folks!
we live in las vegas and have a chicken sanctuary/community garden on three acres.
we have around thirty ’ladies’ hens we care for here.
once in awhile roosters come through our doors and we rehouse them.
we were given a rooster we named Freddie a week ago..
We believe he was someone pet and we are going to keep him at the sanctuary..
we decided he can live out his big life watching the ladies from his own house!
He doesn’t do well with other chickens..He’s rather sacred of them..and we don’t feel he would be comfortable being rehoused on a farm etc..
so I am looking for some chicken wire to extend his living space.. He already has a nice comfortable coop to sleep in.
We just want him to have more space to romp around in.
we are a community garden here in Las Vegas..and the ladies live out their live in the orchard..
So we would really appreciate if anyone had any chicken wire they no longer needed or we could buy at low cost..or be donated to the community gardens…
Appreciate any help we can get…thank you…
Happy chickens..living happy lives..
