Hey, so I have a dog like barred rock who is so sweet and kind ( literally)
and I deleted since she was kinda a runt and picked on back at her Breeders, I will adopt her as an only chicke.
she has a few deformities, bent toes and a beak that is round at the end not sharp but beside that she is pretty healthy and can still do everything.
i got her some friends the other day and all was well while I was slowly introducing them, but a fox came.
it took the smallest new hen 15 week old, Meadow.
i saw it from my kitchen and had to run across the house and run outside and I chased the fox, don’t get me wrong I’m fast but not as fast as a fox.
A small fence came in the way and it tried to jump it but I caught up and scared it away so it drop it.
then picked it back up but dropped it again lol.
now she has a few bite marks.
i can’t proper exam her cuz her feathers and just growing so she is furry and all i see i small bite and a skin rip and small bit of blood.
washed it with antiseptic and spray too.
vets all unavalible.
woke up in morning and she is still alive, eating and drinking and standing.
shall I put her with the flock or can she infect them somehow

Can I still eat her eggs
Did you ever get some photos? Show us her deformities as well.
You have another thread that is ongoing as well. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/emergency-fox-bit-chicken-need-help-now.1354402/

Is this hen that's injured still laying eggs?
I don't see any reason why you can't eat her eggs if she has no infection and you haven't treated her with antibiotics.

It's unclear how well she is...you are asking if she can infect your flock...are her wounds infected?

i don't think that she will infect your flock and you can definitely still eat her eggs. so this was the chicken you were talking about that got attacked by a fox in the thread "my wife's chicken was attacked by a dog". sorry that she is hurt :hugs
