Hi all!
I have a chicken that was born covered in yolk and laying awkwardly to the side. Luckily I took her and cleaned her off and she grew into a nice feathered teen.
A couple weeks ago I noticed that she has one leg splayed out to the side and I’ve tried some home remedies but none of them seem to be working... her leg seems to be getting worse.
I’ve done quite a lot of research on this but nothing seems to be helping.
Does anyone have any experience in this sort of thing? She is such a vibrant chick and she’s a fighter... it would be a shame to put her down. It’s not like the other chickens are pecking her either, (in fact she’s the one doing the pecking.) and she doesn’t seem to be in any pain.
I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated :)

It is hard to tell much about her leg from the angle of the picture. Leg bone deformities can be common in chicks, and may become more pronounced with age. Varus (leg bone bows out,) or valgus (leg bone bows inward) deformity, or a twisted tibia are common ones. Here are some links with pictures that may help to figure out what she has.

Thank you!

I check out the articles and I think it might be a twisted tibia.... the other thing I was thinking is possibly a slipped tendon.
I’ll attach more photos so you can see it more clearly.

Thanks for the reply! It helped narrow down the possibilities. :)
