Chicken with only one waddle. What should i do?

Hey, "Cocky", my little brother's six week old brown leghorn roo, has a comb that must be 1 1/2 tall, and very large waddles, ( so i thought). I noticed today that he only has a waddle on one side. should i be worried? if he doesnt grow another one , will that reduce points in showing?

I imagine it would definitely count against him for showing, but I know that the wattles don't always grow evenly at first.
