When I went to collect eggs today, I found my chickens had attacked and ripped the back part of the comb of my gold laced Wyandotte, Toffee. I’m not sure when this was, since I did not go in the chicken’s coop yesterday. She seems to be acting fine as of now. Is there anything I can do to help her? Anything I can put on it? Should I separate her until it heals? It’s hot here and there are lots of flys. Any help is appreciated. Is there anything I can do about the aggression? I have all hens and the one who got attacked was part of a new batch I integrated in months ago, however the original hens are still mean and will chase or bite the newer ones. Thanks!
