This is my friend's chicken; I'm just the middle man here.

My friend's 9 month old or so Speckled Sussex/mix pullet has an that is completely yellow. She says there is no drainage or swelling and the chicken seems largely unbothered by it.

Attached is a photo she sent.

I'll work on additional details.

Do you know if the friend’s chicken has a respiratory disease, or had a peck or something get into the eye? Does her face stink, and is she having some coughing, mucus, or head shaking of drainage? Tylosin or TiaGard/Denagard are used in the water to treat Mycoplasma (MG.) If it stinks, you could use a sulfa antibiotic in the water. For the eye, use some saline to flush the eye or a warm wet washcloth held to the eye for a few minutes. Try to remove the pus from the eye with Qtips, gauze, or tweezers carefully. Make sure to have someone hold her still wrapped in a towel. This may need to be repeated to get it all out. Flush the eye, and apply some Terramycin eye ointment, plain Neosporin, or Vetericyn eye gel twice a day. Here is a video:
