Hello y'all. I have raised chickens from the time I was able to participate in 4-H, until now. I live on a 120 acre farm in southwest Louisiana and am "Mom" to pigs, cows a dog and a cat. In my spare time...wait...I like to garden, grow roses and hibiscus.
I am a full-time paralegal and full-time farm wife...wait...when do I sleep?
I had to move to south Texas for 4 years due to work, but returned home last year and am starting a new flock.
Thus far, I have 4 spackled sussex, 4 blue plymouth rocks, 2 dark brahmas, 2 unknowns (
) and 9 guineas. They have been raised together and I'm afraid the guineas think they are chickens. All are 6-8 weeks.
I've often been a creeper on BYC when I needed information, so I decided I should join the fun. This site is a wealth of information for the inexperience and the stubborn experienced! I am constantly learning from you wonderful people. So, thank YOU!
