We went to the NW Flower and Garden Show today in Seattle, and it was GREAT!! There were three exhibit gardens featuring chickens! One was a very cute "John Deere" style tractor, one was a nice large attractive pen with nest boxes, and one was a super cool old pickup converted into a raised bed garden with a chicken run on one side and the nest box and roost in the cab of the truck! One of the gardens even featured a couple of goats! Anyone with a remote interest in gardening or landscaping in the Seattle area should make the trip to the show, it was one of the best I've seen in years. It was great to see urban chickens well represented and recieved. I heard nothing but positive comments from others about the chickens, and I recommended this site to several people who expressed interest in getting chickens of their own.
