I have two chickens who are 8 months old. They've laid consistently until now and for the past couple of days, I haven't gotten a single egg (I'm assuming b/c it's near winter). I'm more concerned because their behavior has changed drastically. My BPR, who's decent and friendly, starts to hustle away from me whenever I go outside to check out their coop or give them treats. She's acting strange as if I'm an intruder. My other hen is a comet who is incessantly screaming what once was a somewhat pleasant egg song. A lot of her poop gets stuck on her feathers too. Both of them are acting abnormal. Is there any explanation for this or are they just being chickens?
