Hey All! Love you already! I have found soooo much great info here! I am on this amazing adventure, started months ago when I created our coop, then our awesome friend gave us 2 Bantys, a rooster and a hen, that's them in our avatar... Now we have them, 4 beautiful hens, all different breeds and a turkey doing great. I have two baby turkeys and two baby chicks and three baby ducks getting ready to join in the warm sunroom...I had four ducklings, and yesterday the mallard passed, it happened so fast, he seemed fine and then the next morning he was sluggish and died...WOW! That was painful. I am still on the fence as to the answer if I should let them take a swim or not...Lots of mixed opinions here. They are a week old. I am very grateful this site is here! I will share more

If you have the ducklings swim in a little pool make sure there is a ramp for them to get in and out - even duck babies can drown.

Have been away cause I have been setting up everything....Wow all is well, I will put pics and I hope I can put videos! The ducks Love their pond area
