Okay...dumb question #4.

I am designing my own roosts at the moment. My home carpentry (such as it is) usually uses plywood and screws and glue. Gorilla Glue is the stick-du-jour.

Any problems with chickens pecking at or eating glue? I think most glues are completely synthetic today and probably don't have any food value smells
that might attract them but I can't be sure.

Thanks In Advance

Once it dries I doubt there will be any problem. They'll think of plenty of funer things to pick at. I used glue on all my cages and they don't even look at it. Good luck!

dried glue will pass right thru them and they will be fine. wet glue will stick in their mouth and eventually wash out. i was trying to make a glue-coop and had a hen take a bite of glue drippings too lol, i was worried her mouth would glue shut.

Just gotta say, no reason to use glue at all with properly applied screws.
