If you put them in a small dog/cat carrier, face the door opening to the rear, maybe glue some rubber sheeting to the bottom of the carrier then bungee it on the trunk lid they should be ok.

If it were a Harley with straight pipes they'd probably have a heart attack when you fired it up.

If you turn the opening to the front just imagine all the feathers that will be in your teeth at the end of that ride.
