I was wondering if you could keep pheasants and chickens together. I was told that you couldn't because pheasants needed more fat but I wanted to make sure.
Thanks!

Never heard that pheasants need more fat? Pheasants require more protein than chickens (16% for chickens versus 24% and higher for pheasants) Pheasants also require more space than chickens. Chickens and pheasants should not be kept in the same enclosure because of disease. Chickens carry dieases that they can tolerate but will kill a pheasant. If you raise chickens or other poultry they should be seperated by a pretty fair distance away from any pheasant enclosure. Biosecurity is paramount when raising pheasants or any other poultry for that matter, biosecurity should be number 1.
