Chickens and winter.

Hi, I am looking to start writing an article on chickens in the winter. I was wondering what some key elements might be to include in the article. I was thinking stuff like the pros and cons of lighting and/ or heating. Deep litter vs regular cleaning. Stuff like that. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks for your response! I am looking to write an article on Michigan winters which can vary , this year especially, has been a tough one with freezing and frost bite. Just want to get the basics fully covered so I can have a nice educational article. Its always helpful to have somewhere to begin!
