Hiya Everyone,
We got our new and first chickens yesterday YAY!
They were older than what I thought they were going to be, but I'm happy about that because I wont have to worry about infants now.
They are all VERY sweet and allowed me to hold them at her farm. Although...they were very nervous when we got them home, I'm sure they will settle down in time.
I heard my first "cockadoodle dooooo" lol! AND we got our first egg within an hour after they got here! I couldn't believe it! I'm not a virgin anymore already! lol
I will try to take pics today and figure out how to post them for everyone to see. Even though our coop is not quite finished painted yet. I will still try to get some pics. If anyone see's anything in the pictures that we may have done wrong with our coop design, please let me know.
I want to thank all you wonderful people whom have helped me all last week by answering the million questions I have been asking! I look forward to chatting and maybe meeting some of you one day. Maybe a "chicken reunion" somwhere one day were we all could meet for a picnic or something.
Thanks so much again...This board has some GREAT peeps on it!
