Chickens are sooo funny!!!!

Hi,
MomaChickJenna here. I just wanted to post how funny chickens can be. I get a laugh every time I just watch them. Every time I open my front door they come running at full speed. They get up on the porch with me and start checking me out, to see if I have anything they might be interested in. Sometimes they peek my toes.(yes I walk outside barefoot, even though it's in the 30's - 40's here) They talk to me in their little tones and follow me where ever I go.

Whenever my cat is outside, and she sees me....she will come running over and the chickens scatter. They are not afraid of her, they just scatter because she's running.(if she walks up to them they don't scatter)

I love the way they are so curios.

I LOVE to watch my girls! Seeing them run always cracks me up. I'm new to keeping chickens, so everything they do is fascinating. Much better than tv!
 
our pembroke welsh corgi was herding our barred rock hen one day and she didnt like it, she jumped onto his back and pecked his head, to this day he is still afraid of all barred rock hens!
