Chickens attacked by sog

Help! My chickens were attacked by a dog yesterday. One hen passed away and another hen i had to separate from the rest of the flock due to a dog bite. She is eating and drinking, I did clean the wound and put stuff on the wound to help heal it too, is there anything else I can do for her? She also has lice but I’m not sure if I should treat her for the lice and the dog bite at the same time. Any advice would be helpful.

I would be afraid that the lice would infect the wound. I had a hen mauled by a dog and survived. A little more info would be helpful. Where was she bitten? What did you put on the wound? What is her current state. Is she in shock? Lethargic? Acting mostly normal?

My hen was bitten on her back right above her vent. She is acting normal and laid an egg this morning. This the wound spray I have been putting on her. I went ahead and put a couple drops of the ivermectin pour on for the lice

If you can put gauze or something to cover the wound. She will peck at her own wound which can make it worse. Don't put her back with the other hens until she has fully recovered as they will also peck at the wound and it could become infected.

If it's not in a lethal spot, chickens can heal themselves quite well.

Use antibacterial ointment without pain reliever and cover it as best you can so it doesn't dry out

I released my chicken back into the rest of my flock last. She healed pretty quickly
