Chickens barely drank their Wazine water!

I marked the gallon waterer where it was exactly so I'd get a good idea on how much they drank in 24 hours. . . Well, our of five chickens they drank hardly anything. . . Im not sure if it's because I kept them cooped up or it's been extra dark any rainy. . .

The question is-------> Can I leave it there for another day?

From experiance if there rain water pooling they drink that instead of from their water containers.

They were locked in the coop that is rain proof, but I was thinking on terms of it being dreary and cold they didn't really have the desire to drink. . . ?
