A few weeks ago we had eggs coming out of our ears. We were giving them to anyone who came over but still couldn't get rid of them fast enough.

About two weeks ago I put a sign out at the end of our drive for eggs. We live outside a very small town basically in the middle of the woods, I really didn't think it would do much good. I have to say I'm pleasantly suprised! I've managed to sell 9 dozen eggs in the last two weeks. I actually just sold the last 10 eggs I had in my fridge to someone, couldn't even give them a full dozen but they took them anyway! I don't even have any eggs left for us now!

I think this is great! My hubby is amazed as well, he sure didn't think I'd sell any. He keeps saying these are the only pets we've ever had that actually contributed anything to their feed bill. This is so going to help me convince him to let me get more chickens LOL!

The girls better get laying!!!

having same problem here lol i guess its not really a problem but i guess i didnt expect that people want fresh eggssss
WoooHOOOO

Go chickies go chickies hehe

That's great! I tend to go both ways with mine. I'll have them coming out of my ears and then as soon as I give them away, people want to buy them LOL. I even have some on a sort of waiting list right now. I only have 4 hens and one isn't laying cause it has a baby so I can't wait till my other chicks start laying. I should be able to cover almost half the feed bill
