So today while watching chicken television my SLW found a prize in the chicken run, I found it quite amusing how they were chasing each other and stealing it back and forth it was almost like watching the Packers verses the Bears lol. Another interesting thing, my Norwegian Jaerhon flew over an 8 foot fence separating the pullets from the older girls to go lay an egg in their nest box, even though she has her own. She does this often but wants out of their coop and run immediately after singing her long winded egg song. I checked for eggs but wasn't quite ready to head into the house quite yet so I placed the 3 eggs I gathered into the same nesting box, later when I went to retrieve the eggs one of my BO decided to kick the Norwegians egg out if the box, it makes me wonder does she know that this egg is not from her flock mates. Chickens are wonderful I hope I never figure them out, I will stay tuned in to my chicken TV. Lol have a great day.
