Chickens Dying left and right... What is this!

I just started keeping chickens at my house. The last 3 days I have came home I have had 3 hens laying limp. They are alive but cant move, walk or stand up. They just lay there sometimes on their backs with their legs straight up in the air. I am very worried and my kids are saddened by this. Not sure what is going on but I need to find out. They just started laying eggs a couple of weeks ago. We had 12 now we are down to 9 and I'm afraid its going to get worse.
Please help!!!!

It depends where you got your birds from and did you practice isolation from your previous flock? You do not want to introduce new birds to your flock because it does not take much to stress them out and then illnesses pop up.
