I had to laugh this morning. I was doing chores inside the coop, and heard the weirdest noises going on in the run. The was this poor frog... trying to hop, with the girls chasing him, pecking at him and ripping him apart... needless to say, he croaked- and I was too grossed out to retreive the remains... handsome hubby can get it later
It's amazing what they will eat isn't it? Around here it's usually toads or mice. You'll see the hen with the prize running full tilt across the yard making that "I've got it! I've got it!!" noise with the rest of the flock flappin' behind her in hot pursuit. Never a dull moment on a farm!
