Chickens eating chicken

To be clear, I have no intention of making this a regular part of their diet, but it is my understanding that a bit of leftover (cooked) chicken is not harmful to feed to chickens (so I'd rather not get into a debate about that).

My question is, can you give them the bones to pick through, or is that a choking hazard or otherwise harmful/dangerous? These are all cooked (possibly after I have used them for soup).

We feed leftover chicken to our flock all the time. My DD makes us tell them: "Tastes like people" when we toss it out to them though,
