Chickens eating dog food

My flock has now discovered dog food. Whenever I put a scoop of dog food in a pan for my dogs, they take over. And now they won't eat their own feed. How do I stop them from eating it and is it harmful?

My dog eats the chicken feed, so I just figure fair's fair. So far it hasn't seemed to hurt either dog or chickens. The only way I know to get them to stop is to bring the dogs in to eat. We leave food down 24/7, so that doesn't work for us.

I feed the dogs and cats after the chickens put themselves up for the night. They will eat all their food if I don't do that.

Our dog food is set out 24/7 also. So I guess they can eat it if they wanna.
