We recently moved and since things have started blooming again we have come to realize where we put our chicken run has wisteria vine. Is this ok for our chickens to be eating? I am now noticing blue poop around the chicken run as well. I figured it was from them eating the wisteria but I'm just not wanting them to get sick from it.

Hi and welcome to BYC - maybe if you post in the "emergencies, diseases, injuries and cures" forum you may get some answers. In the meantime, here's a thread that may be of use.

Interesting, I don't think I've seen blue poop before. I hope it's not harmful but just to make sure, use the forum info CTKen mentioned.

It's nice to have you here!

Welcome and wisteria is one of those plants that is sometimes on the do not eat list or watch list or perfectly okay list depending who you ask.
The blue poop could be coming from other things like red cabbage elderberries or blueberries. But im guessing wisteria could have the same effect as you can use it for dye.

Thank you guys I will try the other thread and see.
