1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Several different breeds. Two chickens around 20 weeks, some 14 weeks and others 8 weeks.

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Lethargic. Some with swollen faces and sneezing. Others with no symptoms but getting lethargic and quickly dying.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
For the past 3 days. Came home to find 2 birds dead and then trying to treat as I've been able. I only had 14 so I don't have a lot and have lost close to half my flock.

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
I have 3 birds in isolation exhibiting symptoms but getting better in isolation. Started treating with Tylan 50 orally yesterday.

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
None.

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
Nothing. No new birds have been introduced for 1.5 months. All chickens bought from certified NPIP breeders. No neighboring flocks.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
They eat Countryside Organics Broiler feed and plain water.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
It looks normal, even on the lethargic birds.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Tylan 50 to birds exhibiting any symptoms adjusted by their size and weight.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
I have no good avian vets around me. I'm pretty experienced with livestock and can give injections and medications.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use
They are in a 25x20 run with grass that's fenced in and covered in netting. The coop is a small 4x6 but they are never locked in it. They have deep litter of pine shavings.

I think what I would do is give them all an injection 1/2 ml of Penicillin for 5-7 days. I have found that sick birds may not drink enough and I hate giving shots but it's the best way to do.
