Chickens have stopped laying eggs......Help!

So my 3 ladies have stopped laying eggs! I've been trying to figure out why.... I thought it might be because its gotten hot outside and their coop was dirtier then usual. I cleaned it out buy switched from straw to wood shavings. They did form new nests but no eggs. Today I've noticed ants everywhere around their coop.....including the nesting area!! Could it be the ants? If so how can I get rid of these little suckers?

...rule of thumb... Happy chickens will lay...Unhappy chickens will not...

get rid of the ants, ...have fan in coop to keep them from getting hot, ....keep the coop clean,..... plenty of clean water ....

Also make them feel safe,..predators make them nervous and they will not lay...

The ants have finally left them alone....now they are attacking us in the house! Also, I think they were mad. When I cleaned out their coop I didn't have anymore straw for their nests, and my supplier was sold out. As soon as I got more....there come the eggs!
