Chickens haven't gained lots of weight

Hey,
So my chickens are 8 weeks of age from yesterday and they have had amazing growth, when I weighed them today they haven't grab as much
They are still in there chick feed and they haven't been starved or anything

Is this normal or could something be wrong?

Are we talking meat birds or normal breeds of chickens? What sort of chick feed and is it available at all time? I would think their weight gain will be slowing some as they focus more on feather and bone growth, once their little bodies have a structure to build on they will fill out with muscle.

So long as they are not dropping weight and/or acting off then all should be well.
