Compare the temp inside the cop and outside the coop, they should be about the same.
...and if they are there's not much you can do, when it's hot they pant.

What is the temp?
That helps, but might not stop panting.
Don't over do the EL, I only give once a week...during heat waves that last a week or more.

That's not so bad....but we all adjust to the temps spikes differently.

We are finally getting a break in hot temps tonight! Down into 50s at night time. That should help. During the day they have all kinds of shade and have been handling the heat well.

Same here, got some rain too....I think the heat wave bothered me more than the birds.
There was some panting, but some were lounging in the sun too.

First year can be daunting as you watch them navigate the weather.
By next year you'll be more comfortable with it all.
