chickens in dfw

Hi there. I live near Ft. Worth and have three backyard chickens currently. I took the plunge into chickens in 2020. I'd been wanting them for years but Covid quarrantine gave me an excuse and time to build a coop and jump in. We started with three and have three now, but have lost some in the mix (one to a racoon, two that ended up being roos, etc.) Our current flock consists of an ISA Brown (super faithful layer), an Olive Egger (recently decided she wants to be an escape artist), and an Easter Egger (the only one of our originals left and the absolute sweetest chicken ever).
