I've had a coup for about 5 years. I just got some new chicks this year since my old ones were not laying anymore. I'm in the county so the city rules don't apply. I have 9 hens and 7 chicks. Hopefully most of them girls. I'm getting about 5 eggs a day right now but hoping for a dozen by the end of the summer. Here's a pic of them walking around after I mowed the other day.
