Chickens in house all day

Most of my 15 chickens are molting right now and we are getting a max of 4 eggs a day right now! Anywho, randomly through the day I'll see all of the chickens inside and it usually happens multiple times a day right now. They do come out and run around their big roaming area. I'd think it was due to a hawk, but I've been out and not see any.

Is this just a molting behavior?

It could be. Has it started snowing where you are? My birds always act scared the first few days of snow before they realize it's not hiding a shark under the surface

Maybe they are getting attacked by predators? That has happened with my chickens before.

That's possible too. I had something wipe out most of one of my groups this past week. The day after the last birds were gone, my remaining hen refused to go in the shed for the night. She knew there was something wrong

It has gotten colder but that's like 50s in the day vs 60s and up before this week.

Also no predators around as far as I can tell. They are in a fenced area and it is is kind of narrow. I might throw a net on there just for extra safety.
