Chickens in Los Angeles ?!?

Someone told me about how great home-raised chicken eggs are, aaand we have a lot of pets - but no birds - so I figured it may be fun. A little Google-ing and up popped BYC, and here I am.

Super easy, dude. They don't require much and the eggs are much better for you. Just remember each chicken lays every other day at most. This is the best resource. Good luck.
