I live in Mississippi and decided to get some chickens back in March. I grew up around Chickens at my grandparents. I am now a grandparent with a two year old grandson. I wanted him to have some of the same lessons my granddad taught me. Currently we have 5 red sex links that are laying. Three cinnamon queens that are 8 weeks old. One silver laced Orpington that is 10 weeks old and two RIR that are 15 weeks old. Trying to remember some of the things I learned from my granddaddy led me to reading and searching on the internet. Often I would find my way to this site. I finally took the time to register and officially join last night
