Make sure your water isn't deep, Chicks can drown really easy they can even fall a sleep while drinking and drown.
Other then that THEY SOUND SO CUTE!
When you get them post pics.

Chook Lover is absolutely right - you need a shallow water pan for chicks with clean pebbles or marbles in it , so chicks can sip safely.

EE are fun, especially once they start laying and you find out what color of egg they produce.

The Learning Center is the best place to start and of course, feel free to ask questions if you need help.

Nice to have you here!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. EEs are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorite chickens. She loves their colored eggs. X3 on our Learning Center; if you haven't done so already, definitely check it out. There is loads of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your EEs.

Thank you all! I did check out the learning center, it's great. I just picked up 2 pullets from a farm store, still waiting for my EE'S to hatch. I have a question, it their down feathers anything like what their adult feathers will be?

You're welcome. No, the colors of your chicks will look quite a bit different from their down feathers when they get their adult feathers.
