Chickens in town

how many of u guys have chicken in a town with a livestock code

me but my town has a code saying you can have as many chickens as you want as long as the neighbors dont complain.

i rele do not kno what the code says i kno it says no livestock through but like 3 other people have chickens in town and we r only like at the most 500 yards from the edge of town

Our town said "no livestock" and they told us chickens count as livestock, no ifs ands or buts.... so we got them to change the code of ordinance: now we can have up to 6 hens, no roosters in town.

haha! I found out it is illegal to have poultry in my part of town, even though I bought our chicks at the feedstore 3 blocks from my house! I talked to city council but it may take 3 years to change. I am talking to the city (not the council, well - maybe, depends on what the city says) tommorrow to see what's up. My neighbors like my chickies though so I have no concerns.

i am rele not worried about it either i have raised bottle lambs up here and the whole neighborhood came up to feed him so...
