chickens killed by two dogs - GOOD NEWS

I have been following your situation and I am glad that things turned out in your favor. It is a shame that some owners do not take responsibility for their pets actions, it's a sad situation that those dogs are still with such irresponsibly owners, the dogs deserve a better life. I'm glad to hear that Ruby is recovering and adjusting, now that you will be bringing new ones into the coop how does that work for Ruby? Keep us informed how the transition goes with the new arrivals and Ruby. Again glad to hear that things turned out as they did and should have......

Thank you, Mr.

I'm hoping the weather stays as it has been for a while longer. I am planning on slowly introducing the new birds to Ruby. I have a large dog kennel that I will put in Ruby's run. I will put the chicks in there when it is warm enough to spend a few hours. Hopefully she will tolerate them and I can just introduce them slowly while they are still spending nights in the brooder.

Congratulations!!!!! Here's hoping no one lays eyes on those dogs again, and I agree with previous poster...the dogs deserve a better life. Good luck with the new babies.::)
