I have four chickens that are about 18 months old. These chickens have always lived together harmoniously until two weeks ago. One of the chickens must have ****** the others off because she is being harassed constantly. It seems like most of the harassment is coming from one chicken (Rosemary).
The harassment is so bad that Ginger (the harassed one) stays in the coop on the roost all day. When she ventures outside, Rosemary chases and attacks her. The other two chickens appear to be trying to protect Ginger.
I thought the girls would work this out and life would return to normal. I am beginning to wonder if that will ever happen.
I don't think my community has a chicken therapist to help the girls deal with their issues.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
