Chickens not laying eggs

I got some chickens from a friend a week ago. They were laying eggs for her. I know that if the chickens get upset my moving to a new home they can stop laying. One started laying eggs the next day but the others haven't laid anything yet. How long does it take before they start back up? Isn't it uncomfortable for them not to lay eggs?

Some hens don't lay as much through winter, especially as it's molt time in the NH. What do you feed them? Make sure they have a nice cosy dark place to lay. It's not uncomfortable as they stop producing eggs, so there's no build up
