Chickens panting?

Im a fairly new chicken owner with 6-8 more coming tomorrow and this may seem like a dumb question but do chickens pant when hot? It has been in the 90s here and they have had their beaks open several times the past few days when free ranging ?

Don't want anything to happen to them !

Yes, when they are hot chickens pant and raise their wings somewhat to disperse heat. Make sure that they have a shady spot that they can retreat to.
