I totally agree. Mine are a never ending source of entertainment, and eggcitement! For me, their eggs are a nice reward for caring for my birds.

Yes. They are very entertaining. Glad hear you are getting eggs. My girls have not laid yet. I got them as chicks and they are about 4 months.

I couldnt agree more! These are our 4 ladies roaming our yard yesterday afternoon. (we supervise all free range time due to hassles with neighbouring pets) We too are still waiting for our first egg, our eldest girl (Coronation Sussex) is 19wks old, the Light Sussex 14wks old & the Australorp & RSL are both 10wks. We are starting to see some reddening in the comb of the CS, so fingers crossed she isnt far off laying.
